Your Teeth
The surface of the teeth contain millions of microscopic pores and over the years organic compounds, from food, tea, coffee, pollution, smoking penetrate these pores causing stains and discolouration of teeth and their enamel white colouring.
What is the Whitespa system?
This state of the art treatment system breaks down and destroys these stains and discolouration wiping away the dark compounds, that conventional cleaning, brushing and mouth washes cannot remove.
How does it work?
The Whitespa works by using cold light technology and a concentrated beam of high-intensity blue light to accelerate the whitening process. An advanced filtration system removes ultra-violet light and heat while the Whitespa specially formulated gel works to white teeth restring them to a shiny white.
The Treatment
Following an initial consultation with our specialist the whitening gel is applied to the teeth, the whitespa system is then utilised to activate the gel.
The whole procedure takes around one hour, there may some very light sensitivity during and after the treatment, this is usual and does not last generally after 24 hours. It can also be reduced by avoiding very hot or very cold foods and drinks within a few hours of having the treatment.
Crowns, Filings or Veneers
This procedure will not whiten any of the above however they should return to their original colour if discoloured at all.
Is it safe?
Scientific research has shown tat the active ingredients in the gel and the whitespa technique are effective and safe for cosmetic teeth whitening.
