The company Environ was founded by Dr Des Fernandes in 1990 and operated initially from small premises in Cape Town South Africa. The company has since expanded its skin care range to Europe and five major continents.
Dr Fernandes first developed his skincare range due to his belief that vitamin A and Anti-Oxidant vitamin C, vitamin E and Beta Carotene, were essential for skin health. The most common skin complaint for men and women around the world is Photo-Damage, caused by over exposure to the sun which slowly destroys our skin. By using Environs specially developed skincare range, which incorporates all the vital ingredients needed to prevent further free radical damage to the skin cells along with good life style and sun protection, will keep skin looking more youthful and healthy.
Environ has also put together an advanced facial treatment to accompany and boost its skincare range. Using the aid of a galvanic current and sound waves this promotes the absorption of topical vitamins applied to the skin during the treatment. As well as putting vitamins into the skin, lactic acid can also be used to hydrate and gently resurface the skin, helping to remove dead skin cells which help to heal acne prone skin, and even the most delicate skins which may normally react to other intensive treatments.

This hydrates and prepares the skin prior to commencing the recommended 6-12 further treatments, which are to be carried out over 6-12 weeks.
