Is it safe?
The Harmony's light sources are specially designed to match your skin type, assuring exceptionally exact and gentle treatments. Clinical trials conducted by leading authorities have proved its safety and effectiveness.
Does it hurt?
While pain tolerance is an individual matter, most people tolerate the Harmony hair removal extremely well and describe the sensation as a rubber band snap to the skin; the majority of patients require no anaesthesia.
How long does a treatment take?
Harmony is able to cover relatively large areas at high speed, and treats numerous hairs with each light pulse. While this method allows for unusually rapid hair removal, the exact amount of time required is determined by the size of the area being treated. Your skin specialist will advise you on timing at your consultation appointment.
How many treatments are necessary?
All hair follicles go through periods of dormancy and growth, as this specific Harmony hair removal pulsed light only affects hair follicles that are actually producing hair at the time of the treatment. Resting follicles must enter the growth phase before they can be effectively treated. For this reason, treatment must be repeated until all hair follicles have passed through the growing phase. Clinical studies and our experience indicate approximately 6 treatments are needed at intervals over a 4-6 month period. Your skin specialist will advise you of this on your consultation appointment.
Who can be treated?
Men and women over the age of 18 years of age and of all skin colours have been successfully treated. For best results hair removal is customised according to skin colour, hair texture and body site.
